- Snow White was the first animated feature film.
- Walt won an Academy Award for it consisting of one full-size Oscar and seven smaller ones.
- Other names considered for the dwarfs early on included: Wheezy, Puffy, Stuffy, Biggo-Ego, Jumpy, Baldy, Nifty, Gabby, Stubby and Burby.
- The money Walt made from the movie was used to build The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.
